Mijha handles transactional matters in the areas of employment and real estate in addition to focusing on firm management, associate training and development, and legal project management. Her experience includes representation of sellers and lessors of Class A office space, and representation of lenders in complex securitized loan transactions. Mijha successfully represented non-profit plaintiffs in federal fair housing cases, earning awards from ACORN and the Long Island executive for her work. As a former developer of affordable housing in Atlanta, Mijha has extensive experience in residential real estate transactions.
Mijha received her J.D. from Yale Law School in 2003, where she won the Northeast Black Law Students Association’s Frederick Douglass Moot Court Competition. Mijha attended Yale as a Legal Defense Fund Scholar. She received her B.A., magna cum laude, from Wellesley College where she served as President of College Government, was active on the parliamentary debate team and won numerous writing awards. Mijha is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and is also admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey. Prior to joining Molden & Holley, Mijha was an associate in the Corporate Finance and Property departments at Shearman & Sterling, LLP in New York City.
