Molden & Holley, LLC Closes $7M Construction Loan for Paine College
On January 17, 2012, Molden & Holley, LLC closed a $7,000,000 construction loan for Paine College in Augusta, Georgia. Georgia Bank and Trust Company, represented by Dunstan, Cleary and West, provided the loan which was supported by $2,500,0000 in SPLOST money dedicated to the College by Richmond County.
The construction loan and SPLOST funds will fund the demolition of the existing Randall Carter Gymnasium to make way for the 45,000 square foot Health Education Activities Learning Complex (HEAL Complex) that will feature a 2,400 seat arena. The HEAL Complex is the first new construction on campus since 1973. Besides supporting the Paine College community, the HEAL Complex will offer accessible holistic wellness initiatives to address health literacy and health disparities in the greater Augusta community.
Molden & Holley attorneys, Oni A. Holley (Partner), Mijha Godfrey (Of Counsel) and Ashley Wilson (Associate), are proud to have represented Paine College in this valuable achievement for the College and for the surrounding Augusta community.
