Steve Thompson is a founding member of Molden Holley. He focuses his practice on commercial real estate transactions, and has extensive experience with real estate acquisitions and dispositions, ground leasing, commercial leasing and lending. His practice includes representing clients in connection with transit-oriented development projects and other mixed-use projects.
Steve received his J.D. from Yale Law School in 1997, where he was a student director of the Jerome W. Frank Legal Services Organization. He received his B.A., magna cum laude, from Morehouse College in 1994, where he was a member of the Honors Program and an Uhlman Scholar. While at Morehouse, Steve received the Robert H. Brisbane Award and was inducted into the Golden Key National Honors Society and Phi Beta Kappa. He is a member of the Atlanta Bar Association, Real Property Section, the Atlanta Urban League of Young Professionals, and an Executive Committee Member of the State Bar of Georgia, Real Property Section.
After graduating from law school, Steve worked as an associate in the real estate practice group with Alston & Bird, LLP, and then with the real estate group of Powell Goldstein, LLP. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia.
